Gepan instill provides temporary replacement of the glycosaminoglycan-layer (GAG layer) of the bladder. Gepan instill has demonstrated good clinical results with bladder problems such as interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder syndrome, radiation cystitis and chronically recurring cystitis. It is well received by patients and physicians. It is available for self-instillation for patients who have previously been shown how to self-catheterise.
